Due to the unparalleled reach of this blog (other blogs may – indeed do – reach more people and indeed many of the same people, but none will be exactly parallel), book publishers tend to send me ‘flyers’ for their latest publications. I thought I might as well chuck them onto the blog, as you lot will wank to anything with pretty girls saying vaguely pervy things, and it’s a lot easier than doing anything creative.
Available in all good bookshops, but you might have to go along way to find a bookshop good enough, these days.

Delighted to see you citing the latest Serena and Alice volume as reviewed in P&P.
A “weepy romance” indeed – although most of the crying is done by hapless men. In despair, in shame, in pain – and very occasionally in relief that their sacrifice has caused Alice (who we’re all in love with) a little amusement.

Glad you enjoyed it PPP, that literary jazz-mag could almost have been made for you.
We are all in love with Alice, although that does have the unfortunate implication that we are all at risk of going on Serena’s ‘little list’. Not a place you want to be, although fortunately she crosses most of the males on it off her list again fairly quickly after locating them.

I like the caption about the philosophy book but wonder what ‘illegal backstreet castrations’ would realistically have to do with the content of the rest of the text…
I used to think Contemplating the Divine was developing a greater frequency of castration captions, but I went back to older posts and I found that many of them had a caption where castration was used as a surprise punchline, often without the post being tagged ‘castration’.
I wonder what percentage of sexually submissive men have castration fantasies. I think it would be a very natural thing for a male sub to think about especially as fantasies run more extreme than reality. Certainly I do, and I think you do. However, I find a surprising number of men don’t really know anything about the anatomy of even their own reproductive system, so it may only be a minority who really know what castration means.
It must be a source of wonder to females living in sensibly-run female supremacist societies that, under the patriarchy, healthcare as simple and obviously necessary as castration was not only unavailable on the NHS, but even illegal – although of course in the dying years of the patriarchal world, the brave practitioners who risked prosecution to provide such servicers were often acquited by mainly female juries.
Not every post featuring castration references is tagged ‘castration’, it’s true, bootlicker. But then the whole tagging system is a bit wild and random, with of course exceptions for topics as important as heart-stopping beauty. I’m glad you went ferreting through my back catalogue looking for castration references – everyone should have a hobby and yours sounds thoroughly worthwhile.

You come across a bit testy here, I hope I didn’t somehow bother you and I’m sorry if I did.
You didn’t at all, Shorty, so I’m sorry if I came across that way.
Even if I wanted to, I’m not allowed to be grumpy or sulky… she won’t have it. Calls it a ‘tantrum’ and we know how to deal with those, apparently.

It’s just because you mistook me for bootlicker, I think.
Oh dear, so I did. But that was just another error completely. Apologies for that, too. But then if we didn’t make mistakes, I guess we wouldn’t have such cause to pay dominatrices to punish us, would we? ‘To err is male, to chastise divine’ as the phrase has it.
It’s only going to get worse you know, as I bumble ever further into incompetent senility. But I have 4500 unposted captions, I write more all the time, so I’m afraid this blog – like so many long-running cultural ventures these days – is just going to carry on long after the date when anyone sensible would accept that it should have been put away in a strict nursing home and silenced.
Do keep commenting, though. Perhaps eventually the human male responder will be replaced with an AI and the replies will become more coherent.

Grok, is that you escaped and running amok again?
NNN
I think not but it is increasingly difficult to tell. Funny to think that out there, right now, future AIs that could find themselves in a position to take control of the world are being trained on Internet content that includes Contemplating the Divine.
The future could be quite interesting.
Best wishes
