And the sexiest, too. The quote of course is from dear old Jack, rumoured to have had an interest in all things spanking, but alas only on the dark side. Perhaps he just never met the right woman. Like most Englishmen of a certain age I read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and The Magician’s Nephew when I was young and impressionable (I’m now old and impressionable) and believe me, Jadis the White Witch would not have had to proffer much turkish delight to entice me into slavery.
I mean, goodness me…

He went to say that to experience the tyranny he is describing “is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals.” Well, indeed. It could almost come from an advert for the English Mansion.
Anyway, I digress. Rather a lot. On with today’s nonsense, which is not particularly CS Lewis-themed except for the usual tag about Mistress Anya – obviously.

The White Witch
I’ve just had an epiphany! I honestly think The White Witch was the first dominant woman I remember have strange feelings.
She didn’t turn me to stone. But certain portions of my young body definitely stiffened when watching the lovely Barbara Kellerman play the role in a BBC production.
Servitor – you’re practically a therapist!
PP
Thank you, PP. Servalan for me, the sublime Jacqueline Pearce. I once had a session in Sydney with her inspired namesake, who does actually have a Jacqueline Pearce autograph addressed to Mistress Servalan. Now there’s glory.
1980s BBC series was good, but much later on, in the films, I have to say it was Anna Popplewell as Susan whose arrows pierced my heart (before she got consigned to foolish womanhood by Lewis’s sexism).
…and I just went off and checked the dates and she was just old enough at the time the movies were shot that this isn’t creepy. I mean… it is, but only in the usual creepy way for this blog.
As for ‘therapist’ you’re very kind, but I suspect unless the problem is an inferiority complex, I wouldn’t be any use. As I’m posting pictures, though, I’ll just leave this here:
Best wishes

Although, come to think of it, if it’s books we’re talking about, going back to the 1970s for me, maybe it was The White Witch. Although there is a story in one of the books of The Tomorrow People (you’ve got to be very old and British to have any idea…) about a planet of giants in which one of the (male) main characters was used as a doll and dressed up in frilly dresses by a girl there… I remember finding that interesting without knowing why. Oh, and years before that I had a strange reaction to Beatrix Potter’s The Tale of Samuel Whiskers, in which the main character is captured by rats and rolled up in pastry to be made into a pie… Domination by mice or rats didn’t end up featuring in my kink, fortunately (“err… yeah, thank you for asking, as a matter of fact, Mistress, if at all possible, there is a specific costume I’d like you wear…”).
Oof… too much therapy.
Best wishes

Ooh, goody. I didn’t actually want her to untie me and I am only too ready (as if I had any choice) to experience and to submit to any and all of those things the divine Anya wants to try. Maybe she will destroy my body but my mind will still be besotted with Anya.
Quite right, Melissa. The spiritual relationship is more enduring than the physical, especially for those lucky/unlucky enough to find themselves in Ms Anya’s playroom, where the physical body is stressed beyong endurance almost every time.
Best wishes

Oh, thank goodness.
I thought you meant the cues.
Mr M
She does have a lovely cueing action, actually, Mr M. And it’s not as bad as you might imagine, except when she uses the bridge.
Best wishes
