Historical fits

Yeah, more old-timey femdom. They did have it before the invention of latex, you know.

Fun fact: the beautiful Anna Popplewell who features here is, I think, the only actress I have ever captioned whom I have seen in (so-called) real life. Not a very fun fact, I know, but I don’t get a lot of fun in my life.

  1. Unbreeched or unbreached?

The first of these words means untrousered. A necessary preliminary to all disciplinary activities.

The second means intact, unconquered, inviolate. Which cannot be correct in these contexts.

    Poet / Pervert / Pedant

    1. Next-level pedantry, PPP. Chapeau! As they say in France.

Normally when someone points out a typo I correct it and reload the image but this deserves preservation.

  2. Thank you, as ever, for these. I find myself having a ridiculous reaction to the second one (about the girl feeling homesick for her plantation). Absolutely no need for any payment to incentivise me to volunteer for the chain gang – I find myself desiring strongly to work in his Lordship’s garden and suffer the whipping and even branding just so that this angel can feel comforted in her bedroom. Knowledge that my suffering and agonised cries were making a slight contribution to mitigating her dislike of the colder climate would be reward enough for me. Literally “ridiculous” – I should justly be ridiculed for feeling this way, but I do. I suppose at least it’s slightly less ridiculous than my wanting to be used as a breeding ground for the alien fungus, so maybe there’s hope for me yet.

    1. Thank you, tom. Congratulations on getting through the anti-spam firewall, which seems to have achieved almost female levels of fierceness of late.

I am sure you should indeed justly be ridiculed and, you know, for a small consideration there are plenty of ladies out there who would be prepared to do the ridiculing. And some other things too. But possibly not infection with purple alien fungus, which most would consider a hard limit. But we can dream.
